There are few experiences in life which
can teach leadership and team building as effectively as sailing.
Participants share in the actual operation of the vessel, learning
sail trim, navigation, steering, and the "Rules of the Road".
By rotating through these different tasks and by sailing the Pintita
back to the harbor, the group becomes a cohesive unit, which must
depend on all members and communicate effectively.
The Pintita has conducted team building exercises in Annapolis and Baltimore for such organizations

Cruises
The Pintita offers sail training cruises for aspiring sailors, which
can include the American Sailing Association Designation for Barefoot
Chartering. Families or individual sailors can learn at their own
chosen pace. Such training courses are a great way for families
and friends to grow and hone their sailing skills, no matter what
their experience level is.
Cruising on the Pintita is different from most sailing schools,
because important aspects of sailing and seamanship, such as docking,
anchoring, navigation, advanced piloting, ship handling and maneuvering
are taught and emphasized.
"Hands-on" lessons teach practical skills as well as theoretical
knowledge. Lessons are tailored to each person's skill level so
